I had the pleasure of getting to know Garri when I was living in the UK, he met me on the corner of where he lived.

He would greet not only me but every person who walked past him, he showed me so much about what it meant to love all who come your way. He brightened up my day, as well as many others with that winning smile on his face.

As I got to know Garri I learnt how much more there was to his story and what he´d been through in his life, through this he really started inspire me.

I learnt a big lesson from him about what it is to be a human....to love, to learn and to forgive, he is a shining light in the world amongst a place of insufferable darkness.

As time has gone on, and I have made some major changes in my life...he still seems to have such an impact on my life, even when

I´m on the other side of the world. I go through so many ups and downs on a daily basis....as do we all, after all that's life. But having such inspirational person like Garri in my life he is an angel guide to me. Constantly reminding me that life is a journey and we must enjoy the ride.

There is a reality to this life and meeting people such as this wonderful man makes me keep on top of the illusion, which is life. 

We should use people like this as a guide to how we can make this world a better place. Garri has been born with a gift and a purpose on this earth....and I believe from the bottom of my heart that it is to inspire the people around him.

The energy he carries can only lift you up and remind you of the good in the world. We could all learn a thing or two from Mr Holness. Open your heart, mind and soul to the wonders of the universe by having a bit of Garri in your life.
